Griswold used the "slant logo" from 1907 to 1929 before completely switching over to the "large block logo" in 1930. For some unknown reason, Griswold started using the slant logo again for a couple of years in the 1940s.
"At some point, the slant logo made a brief appearance on a handful of smooth bottom skillet sizes. Exactly when and why is uncertain. Some date them the same as the similarly marked heat ring versions, while others place them much later, early in the small block era. The old catalogs don't seem to be of much help in clarifying this issue. Were both heat ring and smooth bottom versions offered simultaneously, or were the obsolete heat-ringed patterns perhaps dug out and modified into smooth-bottomed simply to provide enough working patterns to keep up with demand? How do you handle refunds for items received damaged?
All of our domestic shipments are insured. Just send us photos of the damaged item(s) and packaging within 3 days of receipt and we will issue an immediate refund, including original shipping charges. International Buyers will need to seek refunds from the shipping carrier; Bleak House 302 will be happy to provide you with purchase receipts, if needed.
What if I'm unhappy with the item once received?

We do not want unhappy customers! :( You may return any undamaged item within 7 days of receipt for a full credit of the sale price.
