DetailsA rare find, this is a beautiful antique single-spout #9 cast iron skillet made in the 1800s. This type is known as a "fancy handle." Amazing condition for its age, no cracks but as you can see in the photos, it's not without its flaws. There is pitting on both sides (see photos) and the skillet has a very minor wobble due to the gate mark.
Still this skillet is 100% functional and a very rare skillet. I've never seen a skillet this large that had both a fancy handle and single spout. I've known they exist but this is the first one I've found. It feels amazing to use. The really, really well made skillets, the great ones, they often feel lighter than they should and that's the case with this one. Without a doubt one of my best finds of the year so far.
Skillet has been stripped clean and seasoned with Avocado oil. Ready for a new home and ready for the kitchen!

How do you handle refunds for items received damaged?
All of our domestic shipments are insured. Just send us photos of the damaged item(s) and packaging within 3 days of receipt and we will issue an immediate refund, including original shipping charges. International Buyers will need to seek refunds from the shipping carrier; Bleak House 302 will be happy to provide you with purchase receipts, if needed.
What if I'm unhappy with the item once received?
We strive to do our best to accurately represent every item by photos and written description. We do not want unhappy customers! :( You may return any undamaged item within 7 days of receipt for a full credit of the sale price. Returned item shipping charges between Bleak House 302 and you and you and Bleak House 302 are not refundable.
