DetailsThis Puritan #8 skillet was produced by Griswold Manufacturing during the 1920s and 1930s in Erie, PA. According to Griswold historians, the Puritan brand was made for Sears Roebuck & CO. I’ve restored hundreds of Griswolds dating from the 1800s through the 1960s after Wagners buyout of the company in 1958. I can safely say that the Puritan branded skillets are true Griswold quality and comparable to most 1930s era Griswold branded products. They are also highly collectable among Griswold completists.
The Puritan 8 we have for sale here is an absolute knockout. No chips, cracks or wobble. It lays flat and has an outstanding cooking surface. It has been stripped clean using electrolysis and seasoned in the oven using avacado oil. A rare find, completely restored and ready for the kitchen.
Measures 15 inches by 11 inches and weighs 3.8 pounds.

How do you handle refunds for items received damaged?
All of our domestic shipments are insured. Just send us photos of the damaged item(s) and packaging within 3 days of receipt and we will issue an immediate refund, including original shipping charges. International Buyers will need to seek refunds from the shipping carrier; Bleak House 302 will be happy to provide you with purchase receipts, if needed.
What if I'm unhappy with the item once received?
We strive to do our best to accurately represent every item by photos and written description. We do not want unhappy customers! :( You may return any undamaged/unused item within 7 days of receipt for a full credit of the sale price, less original shipping charges (for FREE SHIPPING items, our original shipping charges will be deducted; proof of cost available). Returned shipping charges to Bleak House 302 are non-refundable.
